Monkey Puzzle Tree is in the same Aracaria family as Norfolk Island Pine which is noted for its wonderful luminosity when carefully turned thin. Jon used a special process for stabilizing the wood. This bowl highlights 4 branch patterns equally patterned around the bowl. One shows is this photo.
