"Totality" Maple Burl Turned Wall Sculpture

Maple Burl Turned Wall Sculpture
Made from a crosscut maple burl slab. The center of the piece is orientated with the tree's growth rings. It has been torched black and the outer burl edge left natural.

Though not the original intent, some pieces have a way of revealing their true nature later on. From the Moon's Umbra to the Sun's Corona; this piece represents the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse quite nicely.

Can be hung on the wall vertically or horizontally.
