John Hehn
John Hehn is a native Oregonian. He was born in Oregon City and grew up in sawmill camps in western Oregon, graduating from high school in Harrisburg. He settled in Roseburg to raise his family after starting a logging company. He worked in the logging industry in Douglas County for over 30 years. After retiring he was given a book on Intarsia woodworking and began his art Career. He works with the native woods to create wildlife pieces using no dyes or stains on anything. He has been doing Intarsia woodworking for over 12 years now.
