How Long in Business:
31 years!!! We first opened Apr. 1 1985
We plan to celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2035.

Services Offered:
We offer a very large selection of Myrtlewood products and art suitable for gift giving as well as for your own home décor. We also have a larg selection of raw wood including lumber, clock slabs, table slabs, plaque stock, turning blanks, carving stock, as well as furnishings and a lot more gallery items. When our woodworkers are in the shop, we welcome our guests to "see it made".
We also have our Nursery Growers License and have new Myrtle trees grown from seed. We currently have approximately 200 seedlings available to plant for the future generation.

Eco Friendly:
Sustainable Forestry is a concept we highly value. We get our wood from several different sources: trees that have naturally fallen, landowners needing to remove the trees, other wood collectors no longer wanting to move their wood, and occasionally we'll save a log that is otherwise destined for the chipper. We don't harvest healthy trees specifically for their wood as they are more valuable standing.
We are able to save a lot of wood that would otherwise be relegated to the firewood pile due to bug infestation. With our large walk-in freezer we are able to deep freeze this buggy wood for several days; killing any bugs that might still be hiding out.
We encourage our customers and suppliers to help plant trees for the future.

We are also tackling waste in the packing room. Sharon has always been an avid saver and reuser of all packing materials. We have reused grocery bags available at our checkout counter and reuse packing boxes and padding from our many shipments. All of our foam packing peanuts are gleaned from other businesses around town and are reused instead of going to the landfill. We encourage you to either reuse these again or donate them to another business in your area that does a lot of shipping.

What sets us apart from the rest:
Our shop is like a museum of Fine Woodworking. Not only do we do our own woodworking, We also represent over 100 Northwest woodworkers and Artists providing us with what is probably the largest selection of Myrtlewood Products available. As a small family business, we still provide that special one-to-one customer service.

We are much more than a "Myrtlewood factory outlet"
